2 weeks agoI bought a chicken plate fundraiser ticket , and while waiting in the drive-thru line, it smelled so good that we decided to buy a second plate. The drive-thru line was a little long, and the wait time was more than we expected; however, once we got our food, it was easy to see why. We were NOT disappointed! The chicken was smoked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were creamy, the rice was fluffy, and the beans were absolutely delicious. Everything was flavorful and cooked just right. The quality of the food more than made up for the wait. 10/10 experience—We'll definitely be coming back soon with the whole family to try the brisket!

3 weeks agoTried it for the first time and was very happy and very full! Prices are great for what you get! The brisket was sooo juicy and the potato salad has me thinking of this place way more often than I'd like to admit. Excited to have it again soon. 🤤

a month agoI work close by Uncle Roys's and I go there alot at least once a week. I love their potato salad and people there are always nice. So i was hesitant to write this review but i just feel its only right for people to know that recently it has been a hit or miss with uncle roys . My co worker and I always order the uncle roys special and it just seems the quality of the food is never consistent. Sometimes the rice is dry and crunchy, Sometimes its perfect. Sometimes the beans have no flavor, while other times they are delicious. Sometimes they serve you very little sides, especially when they are busy. Sometimes the chicken feels tough like it needed more time to cook, while other days like today, the chicken was fall off the bone good. However, i was disappointed because my potato salad was spoiled and tasted hot. It was super creamy because it hardly had any potatoes in it. Maybe it was the last of the potato salad, and maybe that why it was like that, who knows. It just tasted spoiled. I am not sure what happened because last year the service and quality of the food was so good. i really hope they get back to that place where they serve consistently good quality food. Until then we will not be going anymore.

2 months agoI haven’t had brisket in the valley that wasn’t dry or too greasy. This place really nails it with how moist and succulent theirs is. Would def come back even though it’s a bit out of my way.

2 months agoThis is the place for BBQ!!! Food was amazing, we ordered chicken plate...came with potatoes salad, rice, beans, bread, jalapeño, onions and pickles. It was pretty tasty and a very hearty meal. The sweet tea, out of this world. The place and parking is small and gets pretty crowded by noon. I would recommend arriving before 12noon crowd. Now I know why its always busy here. 5 stars, for sure🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 and we will be back!

2 months agoI originally bought 6 fundraiser tickets from a kid in a parking lot. I gave 2 away and went to pick up the other 4 and added an extra 10 of the same plate. I dropped them off to give to all to my co-workers at the airport. I didn't have a plate myself, but my friend said it was DELICIOUS and sent me some before and after pictures. I take her word for it that it was good, and the people who served me were nice and hospitable!

4 months agoI ordered the barbecue brisket sandwich to go and I ordered it moist however, when I got home, I saw the sandwich and it was so dry so overcooked there was absolutely no flavor. Hopefully this was just a bad batch, but I was very unsatisfied with my food, the potato salad was good. The beans were just regular beans no flavor to them. I would give those maybe a six out of 10. but the really really disappointing item was the brisket.

Edited 11 months agoAmazing! Uncle Roy’s BBQ is absolutely 👍🏻 fantastic! Our first time there and we are most definitely returning! We were greeted with smiles and friendly service. The brisket was juicy and so flavorful! Their sides and portions are top notch!! My brisket potato was stacked, lol, enough for 2!!! If you go please don’t skip out on their fresh lemonade and desserts!
